The Collier name established itself in the Sewn Products Industry in 1959 when Horace & Sue Collier (our momma & daddy) started out at Winston Uniform in Double Springs, AL. Daddy was a Line Mechanic and momma worked in the Office. In 1963 they packed up themselves, Reanee, Robin and all their belongings and moved out to the West Coast where daddy went on to become a Salesman for Union Special for a short time. Making their way back to the Southeast, daddy went to work for Willcox & Gibbs and Sunbrand Corporation in Georgia where he was a Door To Door Salesman for a number of years. Mother became a Homemaker. As far back as we can remember she Sewed Clothing for all 6 of us children such as Purses, Jeans, Western Shirts, Suits and Dresses for Proms, Rain Coats, Camel Hair Coat, Wedding Dress and Veil and many others to numerable to mention. 

The time came when Pfaff Pegasus of USA established in America and they called upon Horace to become a Regional Sales Manager over the Southeast Region to Lead a Team of great Salesmen and Servicemen. Meanwhile, Horace & Sue were growing their family of 6 children Reanee, Robin, Randy, Ronda, Robert and Rachelle. We watched our daddy become one of the most respected Salesman and Managers in the country.  

In 1989, our family business was born. Robin (oldest son) and Randy (middle son) had already worked in the Sewing Machine Industry since the early 1980's. Robin was a salesman for Pfaff Pegasus of USA covering East Tennessee and East Kentucky. Randy started in the garage at home building Sewing Equipment and working as a Line Mechanic in a T-Shirt Factory. Within a few years, all 6 children, in-laws and grandsons came to work with the Family Business.  

After the passing of our parents 4 months apart in 2008, the Collier Team picked up the torch and marched forward. With over 100 years of combined experience, Collier Equipment represents and supply's many brands of New & Used Industrial Sewing Machines, Parts/Operator Supplies, Accessories and Automation into the Sewn Products Industry.  

Industrial sewing machines have been a huge part of our lives for more than 60 years now. During that period, we have been, and still are, working with some of the finest machinery brands in the sewing industry. 

With a strong focus on the East Coast to the Midwest of the USA we are serving our customers with solutions to the difficulties of sewing applications. We understand that no two projects are alike. Therefore, we also offer custom made attachments and work aids to fit your specific needs.
